Duplex Ultrasound Scans

Many patients attending Professor Bradbury's clinics will undergo a Duplex Ultrasound Scan.

For example, it is used to assess:

Duplex is completely safe and non-invasive investigation that is performed in the clinic room and does not involve exposure to any radiation (x-rays).

If they want to, patients can look at the screen while the scan is being performed and a 'running commentary' of what is being seen can be provided to increase patients' understanding.
